My work has always grown from faith, family, gardens, and the belief that practical wisdom should be shared. I am an author, editor, publisher, ordained Deaconess, cofounder of Grateful Hearts Givings NJ Nonprofit, and co-owner of Conwell Cottage LLC. Whether I am tending a garden, creating a useful guide, publishing a children’s story, or serving neighbors, I try to make something hopeful, welcoming, and worthwhile.
Conwell Cottage is also a family story. My husband, Mike, is the steady support behind all of our projects, and my son, Robert Sharife Comer, is a fellow author whose imagination brings lively children’s stories to life. Our family story is still growing, with Little Mike and Melinda preparing to make their own author debuts in the future. Before any title, project, or business role, I am a wife, mother, and grandmother, and my family remains at the heart of everything I do. Faith, creativity, service, and family are woven through everything gathered here.
